Tweety and Sylvester

The Warner Bros. cartoon duo of the eternally hungry Sylvester and his clever canary prey, Tweety, starred in their own comic series from Australian publisher Magazine Management from 1969 to 1985. Spanning 26 issues, this lighthearted, gag-driven series captured the classic cat-and-bird chase in a comic format, with the series' artwork and stories typically credited to the publisher's in-house studio rather than a single famous name. A charming, if modest, piece of licensed comics history, it kept the beloved characters in print for over a decade and a half.
