From 1954 to 1962, Dell Comics gave fans of the classic Warner Bros. cartoon duo their own ongoing series, Tweety and Sylvester. Spanning 34 issues, the title was a reliable showcase for the eternal chase between the scheming Sylvester Pussycat and the sweet, cagey Tweety Bird, often under the watchful eye of Granny.
