About the series
From 1959 to 1961, DC Comics published TV Screen Cartoons, a ten-issue series that brought the playful chaos of animated shorts to the printed page. Most often written by Jack Schiff and illustrated by the likes of Bernard Baily and Win Mortimer, the book starred a rotating cast of whimsical animal characters—including Fauntleroy Fox, Crawford Crow, Burrito, Flippity, Flop, and Tito—in lighthearted, gag-driven adventures.
