Tuss og Troll

In the pages of Tuss og Troll, the Norwegian publisher Hjemmet (later Egmont) brought a beloved folkloric tradition to life across 17 issues from 2008 to 2024. Rooted in the iconic, moody illustrations of Theodor Kittelsen, this comic series was most frequently shaped by writers Haakon W. Isachsen, Nana Rise-Lynum, and Gard Espeland, with artists Håkon Aasnes and Solveig Muren Sanden carrying forward the visual legacy.
