Turma da Fofura

From 1989 to 1990, Editora Abril published Turma da Fofura, a four-issue Brazilian comic series that centered on a cast of adorable animal characters in gentle, slice-of-life adventures. Though brief, the series is remembered as a charming, kid-friendly companion to the publisher's larger line of licensed and original properties. Its warm, playful tone and clean, expressive art made it a sweet footnote in Abril's late-80s output.
