Tulijumala

Tulijumala, a Finnish-language comic published by Zum Teufel, launched in 2024 with a single issue that introduces a mysterious, mythologically-infused narrative. The series is a creation of writer and artist Kalle Hakkola, whose atmospheric black-and-white artwork establishes a brooding, folkloric tone. Though only one issue deep, Tulijumala marks a distinctive new voice in Finnish independent comics, blending local legend with a modern, noir-tinged sensibility.
