Harvey Kurtzman, fresh from his groundbreaking work on Mad, brought his trademark satirical edge to Playboy Press's short-lived Trump (1957–present). With artists Arnold Roth and Bill Elder contributing their distinctive, frenetic styles, the series skewered American culture and politics with a sophistication befitting its adult magazine origins. Though only two issues were published, Trump remains a fascinating, high-wire act of humor and illustration from a legendary creative team.
