Tribe

A short-lived but visually striking series from Axis Comics, Tribe (1993–1994) ran for only two issues, written by Todd Johnson and illustrated by Larry Stroman. Set in an era when independent publishers experimented with diverse genres, the comic presented a unique, self-contained story that showcased Stroman's dynamic, energetic artwork. Though brief, it remains a notable artifact of the early '90s indie comics scene.
