About the series
From 2001 onward, DC Comics released a single-issue special, Transmetropolitan: Filth of the City, that collects a gallery of pin-ups and short pieces by a range of artists—most frequently Bill Sienkiewicz, Brandon Graham, and Brian Michael Bendis—celebrating the gonzo world of Spider Jerusalem. A companion piece to the main series, it offers a visual feast that captures the grimy, satirical energy of the city and its infamous journalist.
