Toyetica

Toyetica (2017–present, Action Lab Comics) is a two-issue series that reimagines classic toys as cosmic beings locked in a philosophical war over the nature of play. Written by David Doub and illustrated by Eric Palicki, the story follows a group of sentient action figures navigating a fractured world where their purpose has been corrupted. This short but ambitious debut from a small press explores the weight of nostalgia and the blurred line between childhood wonder and adult disillusionment.
