About the series
From 2014, Egmont UK published a single oversized issue of Toxic Annual, a one-shot by writer/artist Lew Stringer that collected the anarchic, gag-filled strips from the weekly Toxic comic into a bumper holiday edition. It served as a standalone showcase of Stringer’s signature blend of slapstick and satire, offering readers a concentrated dose of the title’s chaotic humor.
