About the series
A compact Norwegian pocket-sized reprint series from Semic, Torpedo collects the hardboiled 1930s gangland exploits of the ruthless hitman Luca Torelli. The two-issue run primarily features the celebrated storytelling of writer Enrique Sánchez Abulí and the gritty, shadow-drenched art of Jordi Bernet, with additional contributions from writer Heikki Gröhn and legendary artist Alex Toth. Though brief, this series made the acclaimed European crime classic accessible to a Scandinavian audience, showcasing Bernet’s iconic, noir-soaked visuals.
