Tommy og Tigern

The long-running Norwegian anthology series Tommy og Tigern (1989–2007) from Bladkompaniet/Schibsted collected 231 issues of beloved international newspaper strips, most notably the work of Bill Watterson, whose Calvin and Hobbes gave the title its name. Alongside Watterson’s classic, the series featured Gary Larson’s The Far Side and Bud Grace’s The Piranha Club, with later contributions from Norwegian creators like Iselin Røsjø Evensen and Eivor Vindenes. For nearly two decades, it served as a consistent, accessible gateway to some of the most celebrated single-panel and daily comic strips of the era.
