In the late 1980s, Egmont Ehapa brought the beloved German mystery series TKKG to comics, adapting the adventures of the four teen sleuths for a new visual medium. Running for 17 issues from 1987 to 1989, the series was most frequently illustrated by Ruben Montoya, whose dynamic art brought the team's investigations to life. While the comics followed the same core characters, they offered a distinct, standalone experience from the original novels and audio dramas.
