Tillie the Toiler

Russ Westover's Tillie the Toiler ran for eight issues from 1925 to 1933, published by Cupples & Leon. This series collects the popular newspaper comic strip of the same name, following the adventures of its plucky, modern young working woman protagonist. Westover, the strip's sole credited artist, brought a lively, gently humorous touch to Tillie's office romances and social escapades.
