Thunderbolt Fantasy: 東離劍遊紀 [Thunderbolt Fantasy: Touriken Yuuki]

In 2016–2017, Kōdansha published Thunderbolt Fantasy: 東離劍遊紀, a four-issue comic adaptation of the acclaimed Taiwanese puppetry series. The story brings the epic wuxia adventure of the original show to the page, blending martial arts fantasy with striking visual storytelling. Though a short run, it stands as a unique bridge between the puppet theater tradition and manga, capturing the sweeping drama of its source material for a new audience.
