Thrasher Comics

From 1988 to 1990, High Speed Productions published Thrasher Comics, a nine-issue series that brought the skateboarding magazine's gritty, anti-establishment energy to the comic page. Most frequently illustrated by artist Johnny Childish, the series captured the late-80s skate and punk subculture with raw, irreverent storytelling. It stands as a unique artifact of its era, bridging the worlds of sports journalism and underground comix.
