From 2014 onward, IDW brought two of the biggest '80s franchises together in a single oversized Free Comic Book Day issue. Written by John Barber and Tom Scioli, with Scioli also providing the distinctive, blocky artwork, this one-shot pits the shape-shifting robots from Cybertron against the elite military team in a clash of sci-fi and super-soldier action. It's a high-energy, standalone crossover that captures the spirit of both properties in a single, self-contained adventure.
