The Toxic Avenger

In 2025, AHOY Comics launched a new series starring The Toxic Avenger, the deformed, super-strong, mop-wielding hero of Toxie fame. Written by Matt Bors with art by Fred Harper, this revival takes the classic character from the cult-favorite film and comic lineage into a fresh, satirical direction. With only a single issue released so far, the series reasserts Toxie’s place as a gleefully grotesque icon of underdog justice in a world that still needs a messy, mutated hero.
