About the series
Marvel’s The Tomb of Dracula (1979–1980) is a six-issue miniseries that reunites the core creative team from the acclaimed 1970s horror series—writer Marv Wolfman and artist Gene Colan—alongside writers Lynn Graeme and Ralph Macchio, and artists Jerry Bingham and Marie Severin. The story follows Dracula as he clashes with his daughter Lilith and crosses paths with Conan the Barbarian, blending supernatural horror with sword-and-sorcery adventure. A compact, late-Marvel Bronze Age revival, it matters as a direct sequel to the classic run, offering a final, atmospheric chapter for the Lord of Vampires.
