About the series
Launching from the Superboy and Teen Titans titles, The Ravagers (2012–2013, DC) follows a group of young metahumans who break free from the shadowy organization N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and fight to survive on the run. A short-lived but action-packed series from the New 52 era, it was primarily written by Howard Mackie, Michael Alan Nelson, and Tony Bedard, with kinetic art from Ian Churchill, Ig Guara, and Diógenes Neves. The title matters as a gritty, youthful spin-off exploring rebellion and identity in DC’s then-rebooted universe.
