The Pound

The Pound (2000–present, Radio Comix) is a single-issue comic that launched a darkly humorous, anthropomorphic take on the world of abandoned animals. Created by a small press, it sets the stage for a series where the pound itself becomes a character, exploring themes of survival and second chances through its animal cast. While only one issue has been released, its premise and tone have left a distinct mark on independent comics.
