Jack Chick’s The Pilgrimage (1999–present, Chick Publications) is a single-issue Christian allegory that reimagines John Bunyan’s The Pilgrim’s Progress through the stark, urgent lens of Chick’s signature black-and-white art and evangelical storytelling. Written and drawn entirely by Jack Chick, the comic follows a soul’s journey toward salvation, packed with the creator’s trademark confrontations with sin, doubt, and worldly temptation.
