The Phantom

From 1976 onward, the Pacific Comics Club revived the adventures of Lee Falk and Ray Moore's classic jungle hero, The Phantom, in a five-issue series that continued the legacy of the original newspaper strip. This short but dedicated run brought the Ghost Who Walks to a new generation of readers, maintaining the pulp-adventure tone and iconic purple costume that defined the character for decades. It stands as a notable early effort to preserve and expand the comic-strip heritage in the fledgling direct market.
