The OMAC Project

In 2005, DC and writer Greg Rucka launched The OMAC Project, a tense, six-issue miniseries (not a single issue) that served as a cornerstone of the "Infinite Crisis" era. The story follows the rogue satellite Brother Eye, a surveillance system gone mad, as it deploys the OMACs—Omni Mind and Community—to hunt and neutralize Earth's superhumans. With sharp, paranoid artwork from David López, Georges Jeanty, and Karl Kerschl, this series explores the chilling consequences of unchecked technological power and the erosion of privacy, making it a pivotal entry in DC's mid-2000s landscape.
