The Nevermen

Phil Amara and Philip Amara (the same writer, credited both ways) and artist Guy Davis crafted a four-issue Dark Horse miniseries (2000) about a secret society of men who have been stripped of their names and identities to become immortal, memory-absorbing agents of history. The Nevermen offers a dark, surreal take on immortality and sacrifice, with Davis’s distinctive, moody art grounding the high-concept premise in gritty, lived-in detail.
