The Life of Groo

In 1995, Graphitti Designs released a single oversized issue of The Life of Groo, a mock-autobiography that looks back on the wandering barbarian's entire (fictional) life. Written by Mark Evanier and illustrated by Sergio Aragonés, it treats the series' long-running, slapstick adventures with a fond, retrospective humor. As a standalone special, it offers longtime readers a warm, character-focused capstone rather than a new adventure.
