The Flintstones Annual

From 1963 to 1974, World Distributors published eight issues of The Flintstones Annual, a British comic annual that adapted the beloved animated series into original comic adventures. Most frequently written by Del Connell and Ray Dirgo, with artwork primarily by Dirgo and Roger Armstrong, these oversize, full-color collections offered Bedrock's favorite family a fresh, self-contained read each year. While lesser-known than the American comic runs, the Annuals represent a charming, transatlantic take on Hanna-Barbera's stone-age suburbia, capturing the show's gentle satire for a British audience.
