About the series
In The Fix (2016–2018, Image), writer Nick Spencer and artist Steve Lieber deliver a sharply funny, three-issue crime comedy about a pair of thoroughly corrupt Los Angeles cops who are more interested in profit than justice. The series skewers institutional greed and Hollywood absurdity with a dark, satirical edge, anchored by Lieber's expressive, grounded artwork that keeps the mayhem both believable and hilarious. Though short-lived, it's a tight, memorable blast of cynical humor from a creative team at the top of their game.
