The Complete Little Nemo in Slumberland

In the late 1980s, Remco Worldservice Books revived the classic dreamscape of Winsor McCay with a six-issue series collecting the original Little Nemo in Slumberland newspaper strips. This 1989–1991 project brought McCay’s pioneering, lavishly detailed fantasy world—where a young boy’s bedtime adventures unfold in breathtaking, surreal tableaux—to a new generation of readers. It remains a key archival effort for preserving one of comics’ earliest masterpieces, showcasing the art and storytelling that influenced generations of cartoonists.
