The Coldest City

From 2012, Oni Press published The Coldest City, a taut Cold War spy thriller by writer Antony Johnston and artist Sam Hart. This single-issue comic strips espionage back to its bare bones, following a British agent into divided Berlin to retrieve a list of undercover operatives. Its lean, atmospheric storytelling and monochrome art build a quiet tension that would later be adapted into the film Atomic Blonde.
