About the series
DC Comics' The Blackhawk Archives (2001–present) reprints the classic wartime adventures of the original Blackhawk squadron, a multinational team of ace pilots who fought the Axis during World War II. Writer Dick French and artist Chuck Cuidera, the defining talents behind the series, are featured in this single-issue archival collection. It preserves the Golden Age origins of one of DC's earliest and most enduring action-adventure teams.
