The Batman and Robin Adventures
DC · 1995–1997 · 25 issues
About the series
Set in the same animated continuity as the celebrated Batman: The Animated Series, this DC comic ran for 25 issues from 1995 to 1997. Anchored by the writing of Paul Dini, Ty Templeton, and Kelley Puckett, with art from Brandon Kruse, Rick Burchett, and Bo Hampton, it expanded the world of the Dark Knight and his partner, Robin, beyond the small screen. The series is notable for deepening the character of Harley Quinn, co-created by Dini, giving her more nuanced stories alongside classic rogues. It remains a key bridge between the show's episodes and its successor, The New Batman Adventures, capturing the same noir-tinged, character-driven spirit.
