The Authority

In 2001–2002, Grupo Editorial Vid published a ten-issue Spanish-language edition of The Authority, bringing the groundbreaking, hyper-violent superhero team to Mexican readers. This series collected the original run by writer Mark Millar and artist Frank Quitely, known for its radical, world-changing approach to super-heroics and its unflinching political commentary. As one of the most influential titles of the early 2000s, it redefined the genre's boundaries and remains a touchstone for mature, deconstructive storytelling.
