Théâtre en BD

A series of original graphic novels from Éditions Petit à Petit, Théâtre en BD (2006–present) adapts classic stage plays into sequential art, each volume translating a celebrated work of dramatic literature—such as Molière's Tartuffe or Edmond Rostand's Cyrano de Bergerac—into the comic medium. The project showcases a rotating roster of French comics artists, with each adaptation helmed by a different creative team, and stands as a thoughtful, literary-minded bridge between theatre and bande dessinée. Its four published volumes offer a compact but distinctive contribution to the tradition of literary comics adaptations.
