Tex Willer

From 1977 to 1995, Semic published 317 issues of Tex Willer, a Norwegian-language series that brought the legendary Italian western hero to a devoted Scandinavian audience. Anchored by the steady scripting of Tone Dannevig, Claudio Nizzi, and Solvår Vinge, and the rugged artwork of Guglielmo Letteri, Fernando Fusco, and Giovanni Ticci, the series followed the adventures of the iconic Texas Ranger alongside his faithful companions Kit Carson, Kit Willer, and Tiger Jack, as well as the mysterious Nattens Ørn and the sinister Mefisto. This long-running imprint made Tex a household name in Norway, showcasing the enduring appeal of the character’s blend of frontier justice and pulp adventure.
