About the series
A long-running Brazilian series from Editora Vecchi, Tex (1971–1983) brought the iconic Italian Tex Willer adventures to a new audience over 164 issues. Rooted in the classic Western tradition, the series followed the stoic Texas Ranger as he fought outlaws and defended justice across the frontier. While many creators contributed, the work of Italian artists and writers—particularly those from the original Sergio Bonelli series—defined its gritty, cinematic look. This Brazilian edition helped cement Tex as a foundational figure in the country’s comic book landscape.
