Testosterone City

Peter Bagge’s Testosterone City (1990–present, Starhead Comix) is a single-issue, self-contained burst of his signature squiggly, hyper-expressive cartooning. Published at the dawn of the 1990s, it captures Bagge’s early, raw energy as both writer and artist, offering a concentrated dose of the suburban satire and manic character work that would define his later Hate series. A brief but vital artifact of Bagge’s underground-comics evolution, it’s a snapshot of a singular talent finding his voice.
