Terra Flats

Jason Fischer’s Terra Flats, launched in 2016 under Alternative Comics, is a short-lived but distinctive two-issue series that he both wrote and drew. Set in a surreal, rural landscape, the comic follows a wayward drifter who stumbles into a strange town where time and memory seem to bend. Fischer’s stark, expressive linework and off-kilter storytelling give the series a haunting, folk-horror atmosphere that stands out in the indie comics scene. Though brief, Terra Flats is a compelling glimpse into Fischer’s singular creative vision.
