Terminal City

In the late 1990s, DC published this short but striking noir-sci-fi series from writer Dean Motter and artist Michael Lark. Set in a retro-futuristic metropolis, it follows a mysterious amnesiac searching for his past amid decaying technology and shadowy conspiracies. Though only a single issue, it remains a cult touchstone for its moody, atmospheric world-building and Lark's distinctive, gritty linework.
