About the series
In 1978, the Danish publisher Leska launched Tegnede klassikere ("Drawn Classics"), a series adapting literary works into comic form. Across its initial two-issue run, writer Piero Zanotto and artist Alarico Gattia brought Robert Louis Stevenson's adventure tales to sequential art, offering a unique window into European comic adaptations of classic literature.
