About the series
Marvel's Teen-Age Romance (1960–1962) was a short-lived but charming entry in the publisher's early-1960s romance-comics line, running just ten issues. Written primarily by Stan Lee and Larry Lieber, with art from a team including Vince Colletta, Jack Kirby, and Joe Orlando, it offered lighthearted tales of young love and high-school crushes. While not a landmark series, it showcases Marvel's pre-superhero era, when the company—then still known as Atlas—was exploring a variety of genres, and it features early collaborative work from some of the creators who would soon define the Marvel Age.
