About the series
A short-lived Finnish annual published by Lehtimiehet in 1979 and 1980, Tarzan Vuosikirja collected Edgar Rice Burroughs' jungle lord in oversized, magazine-format editions. The series is notable for featuring classic newspaper strip material by the legendary artist Hal Foster, whose early, elegant Tarzan work defined the character's visual legacy. Though only two issues were released, they remain a distinctive, localized tribute to one of adventure comics' foundational heroes.
