Tarzan sa vracia

A Slovak-language reprint series from Semic-Slovart, Tarzan sa vracia (1993–present) collects classic Tarzan newspaper strips and comic stories for a new generation of readers. Bringing Edgar Rice Burroughs’s jungle lord back into print after the fall of communism, it relies on the foundational artwork and storytelling of the strip’s legendary creators, including Hal Foster and Burne Hogarth. Its ongoing, issue-free format—essentially a continuing series of collected editions—makes it a key document of how Western adventure comics were reintroduced to post-Soviet audiences.
