Tamara Drewe

In 2008, Denoël launched Tamara Drewe, a single-issue graphic novel by writer/artist Posy Simmonds that reimagines Thomas Hardy's Far from the Madding Crowd in a contemporary English countryside setting. The story follows a young journalist who returns to her rural hometown, stirring up romantic entanglements and social comedy among its residents.
