Tales of Horror
Gredown · 1975–1978 · 10 issues
About the series
A short-lived but atmospheric horror anthology from the mid-1970s, Tales of Horror was published by Gredown across 10 issues. The series leaned on a rotating team of British and Spanish talent, with regular scripting from Joe Gill and Joe Molloy, and moody artwork from Bill Molno and Enrique Nieto. Writer-artist Jesus De La Peña Rego was a frequent contributor on both fronts, helping define the book's eerie, old-school chill. Though brief, it stands as a modest but earnest entry in the decade's wave of independent horror comics.
