About the series
From 2007 to 2008, NBM revived the macabre spirit of the classic EC Comics with a nine-issue graphic novel series bearing the Tales from the Crypt banner. While the series is most visually associated with the reliably grotesque and humorous art of Jack Davis and Rick Parker, the work of the mysterious Mr. Exes also punctuates the run. This collection of original, self-contained horror stories matters as a modern, unflinching homage to the anthology’s EC legacy, delivering the same blend of dark twists and grim comeuppance that made the title legendary.
