About the series
A darkly surreal Italian horror-fantasy series from Edifumetto, Tabu' ran for 50 issues between 1973 and 1978, blending eroticism with supernatural dread. Most closely associated with the writer and artist Magnus, whose intricate linework defined its eerie atmosphere, the series also featured covers and interiors by Alessandro Biffignandi and the Studio Leonetti. Its twisted, often macabre tales helped push the boundaries of the Italian fumetti neri tradition, making it a cult touchstone for fans of psychosexual horror comics.
