Taboo

A landmark anthology series from the late '80s and early '90s, Taboo was a showcase for boundary-pushing, often controversial comics, published by the independent Spiderbaby Grafix & Publications. Over seven issues, it served as a vital platform for Alan Moore, Alejandro Jodorowsky, and Eddie Campbell, whose own artwork, along with that of Michael Zulli and Nancy O'Connor, defined the series' dark, experimental visual identity. More than just a collection of stories, Taboo is remembered as a crucible for mature, transgressive comics work that challenged the medium's limits.
