In the late 1990s, German publisher Sailer Verlag brought the beloved children's character Tabaluga to comics for a 14-issue run. Starring the young dragon created by Peter Maffay and Gregor Rottschalk, the series followed his gentle adventures in the fantastical world of Greenland, blending light fantasy with environmental and friendship themes.
